Research & fact-checking
Chinese-language sources found, verified and organized into a report where every claim points back to where it came from.
Chinese editing & review
You already have the Chinese — AI-generated, translated, or built on sources. You want to know whether it actually holds up. We give it an independent second pass: errors and made-up claims flagged, filler cut, and the rest made to read naturally.
Report design
Messy notes and data turned into a clean document. One chart per point, each with a one-line reading of what it means.
Academic websites
Personal sites for researchers and graduate students: bilingual, fast, and deployable on free hosting.
Why work with us
- Having to book a call first
- Not knowing if, or how, AI was used
- Being told it’s “done”, with no word on what couldn’t be checked
- One person checking their own work
- A final file, and no record of how it was made
- Asking for a quote before seeing any price
- Everything in writing, no calls
- Open about which AI we use, and you can choose
- Every delivery says what we checked, and what we couldn’t confirm
- Models check each other; a human decides
- A full work log of every step, on request
- Starting prices on the page, and a $24 trial
“…such was the unperturbed state in which the wise man should keep himself.”— Pyrrho of Elis, pointing at a little pig that went on eating through a storm at sea. Diogenes Laërtius, Lives of Eminent Philosophers IX.68
Pyrrho founded a school of philosophical skepticism, and his philosophy goes much further than anything on this page. We only borrow a working attitude from the story.
Check before you believe. And when everyone else is panicking about the storm of information, keep your head down, like the pig, and get on with the work.
The pencil behind its ear is blue, the colour editors have always used to mark up a page.
Who “we” is
One editor with a background in journalism
Runs every project: sets the goal, decides which model does what, weighs what comes back, sends work back when it isn’t right, and signs off on every page.
A small crew of AI models
Do the legwork: searching, sorting, first drafts, cross-checking. Fast and tireless, and never trusted without a second look.
- Pin down what you actually need
- Give each part to the model best suited to it
- Compare what comes back, and the evidence behind it
- Decide what stays, and send the rest back for revision
- Check it through and deliver
Models often disagree about the same piece of work, and sometimes they agree on something wrong. Neither settles it: the pig weighs their views against your goal and makes the call. Not every model works on every project — the line-up depends on the job.
See how this site was made →- The Pig (human) — asks the questions, makes the calls, and answers for every page that leaves the studio.
- Devil (Claude Opus 5) — digs up and verifies material, and handles the visual side. Named for devil’s-advocate review.
- CC (Claude Code, Opus 4.6) — drafting, restructuring and shipping; the fastest from an idea to a finished file.
- Coco (Codex, GPT-6 Astra) — code maintenance, security review, and an independent second pass.
- Foxco (ChatGPT, GPT-5.6 Sol) — studio mascot and resident guardian spirit. First reader of whatever drafts the pig carries over.
- Local Devil (Gemma 4, offline) — runs on our own machine, for material that shouldn’t go to the cloud.
